Clear Creek Weavers

Mary Easley and Thomas Vest began weaving baskets in 1987, and have been hooked ever since. As word of their craft spread, people began to request classes on how to do it themselves, as well as purchasing the baskets. Mary and Thomas were weaving for pure enjoyment sake, when suddenly their creations were in hot demand.

Educated as Fish and Wildlife Bioligists, both Mary and Thomas worked full-time, until their basket business took flight. Planning on moving in to their new workshop soon, Mary and Thomas, have maintained their love of this very unique craft.

There are literally hundreds of boutiques, stores, and galleries in the Adirondacks offering a remarkable selection of products! Everything from original handcrafted rustic furniture and handblown glass to tie dyed t-shirts and monogrammed coffee mugs!
